Archeological Tour

Date - 27th and 28th of February, Fornos de Algodres, Guarda, Portugal
Program:
Saturday - The trekking tour starts in the Matança Dolmen. After that we'll visit a roman bridge, a medieval cemetery and the remains of a roman street. The tour will end in a chapel of the XII th century. It's a 10 km trekk. In the evening we will have a tradicional dinner in a mill.

Sunday - We will start our trekking in Fornos de Algodres, in a roman sidewalk. After that we will visit a village with many archeological history, another dolmen and several other important and strategical archeological places. The trekk has 13.5 km.

Prices:
Adults - 34€ / children above 21 - 24€.
(it includes all anounced above - trekkings and dinner - and the insurant).

We are cold, it doesn´t stop raining and even the snow comes to visit from time to time...
Don't worry, in February, StarNatura will have 2 events that will make you forget all that.
Write in your calendar:

• 07 th of February - «Queijo da Serra» fair in Fornos de Algodres. We'll have more details in a few days...
• 27 th and 28 th of February - Fornos de Algodres archeological treeking tour - Saturday, 27 th - 11,5 km trekking joining part of the most important archeological monuments of the region. The day will end with a tipical dinner. Sunday, 28 th - 13,5 km trekking tour joining the other important archeological sites. In the end of the day you will have a surprise waiting. Prices and details in a few days.

We are waiting for your visit. Remember: if you bring a group of friends (6 ou more people) your event will be free, StarNatura will offer you the stay and the participation in the event, no charge.

What do we do:

StarNatura was born from a dream of turning our holiday occupacion on our main profession. We want to develop the turism and sports in this region. Its a beautiful place, near to Serra da Estrela, often forgotten... We want to promote nature, sports in the country side and wellness.

«Archeological bus tours» in Fornos de Algodres

Every thursday from the 13th of August until the last week of September, StarNatura in collaboration with the tourism office of Fornos de Algodres, will have «Archeological bus tours».

Program:

• 1oh / 12h30 - visit to Cihafa (village archeological museum) and village tour
• 14h / 17h30 - visit to several archeological momuments in the area

We can have a bus or we can go by car. There are several packs

• All day tour (no lunch)- 14,00€
• Half day tour (morning in the vila) - 3,00€
• Half day tour (afternoon with bus) - 10,oo€
• Simple lunch (with sandwich, juice, fruit) - 5€
• Group minimum - 6 people

StarNatura has to now, at least, one day earlier, because of the bus.
